No. Testing can support athletes, recreational exercisers and adults focused on longevity, metabolic efficiency or body composition. The protocol and interpretation should match your current ability.
Wearables are useful for trends but often estimate metrics through algorithms. Several of our assessments directly measure respiratory gases, blood lactate or body composition under standardized conditions. The two sources can complement each other, but they are not interchangeable.
The interval depends on the metric, your objective and the changes being made. Retesting should occur after enough time has passed for a meaningful response to be detectable, using a comparable protocol whenever possible.
