FAQ
Testosterone therapy can suppress sperm production by lowering the hormones LH and FSH. If fertility matters to you, ask your provider about enclomiphene or other options.
Most often as a subcutaneous injection (under the skin) weekly or every other week. Oral dissolvable tablets may also be an option.
Common: acne, oily skin, hair changes, mood changes, higher estradiol and testicular shrinkage. More serious: higher red blood cell count, sleep apnea, prostate enlargement and higher blood pressure. That's why regular labs are part of the program.
Your baseline lab order appears in the patient portal after sign-up, and you complete it before your provider visit. Follow-up labs are at 1 month, 3 months, then every 3 months until stable.
Agile Telehealth programs are cash-pay, so insurance isn't billed. Many programs are FSA/HSA eligible, and Agile's benefits team can help you check.
Plans are billed every 28 days. You can cancel any time before your next shipment from your Agile patient portal. Cancellations made after a shipment is processed apply to the following cycle.
